Mayonez Font Download

Mayonez is a typeface with rational structure and axis but softened with rounded contours, getting as result a balance between seriousness and friendliness. The shapes have a soft appearance but without lacking definition.

A fluider structure influenced by calligraphy is proposed for the italic varaints, in this case the uppercase letters adopted a simplified semiserifed structure that works better with the lowercase letters.

I can best describe the Thaun family as a general purpose display family, inspired by Scholtz Fonts' "
"Delikat". I wanted to produce a display font that was more robust than Delikat, without losing the delicacy of the original.

In order to do this I thinned solid, curved strokes toward the baseline, and let them dwindle to gently rounded points.

As a graphic designer I became aware that designs that used a number of styles from the same family seemed to work well.

This was easily done using a standard sans serif font such as Arial or Helvetica. However, when a different look is needed, display fonts do not always have a the variety of different styles that are necessary to produce a coherent design.

There are also two variants of the archetype i.e. Thaun Black & Thaun Rough to add variety to the primary style. An additional sub-family, Thaun Accord, appears in two widths. Thaun Jazz is a wide three dimensional variation.

Language support includes all European character sets, Greek symbols and all punctuation. Opentype features include automatic replacement of some characters and discretionary replacement of stylistic alternatives.

This gentle script, designed by writing master Georg Salden, is full of grace and vitality. The richness of ideas appear particularly in the curved capital characters. Lower case letters have curved elements primarily at the ascender and descender parts.

Dogo (Spanish) is a type inspired by the shapes of the Bulldog dog breed originating from England. Her personality is described as playful and affectionate, despite the brave face.

With initial thoughts of creating something tubular, I had in the back of my mind the kind of contemporary chrome furniture that became ubiquitous throughout the 60s and that concept remained with me throughout the development process.

The font-styling idea worked out very well in this case, resulting in plenty of optional character variations for my chosen theme, most of which are included in both styles in light and bold character sets.

There are times when a typeface is used so consistently that it becomes somewhat synonymous with the subject it’s used in.

The opening and end titles for the ABC-TV series “Naked City” (1958-1963) were set in a bold version of a popular font emulating the look of calligraphic hand lettering.

Arcaro JNL is a somewhat lighter and slightly modified version of this typeface and is offered in both regular and oblique versions.

CamingoCode is a monospaced typeface designed for source-code editors.

A compact appearance and a moderate line height provide for good legibility and make writing code a pleasure. It is based on CamingoMono, but has several specially-drawn glyphs that work well at small sizes, including Q, l, &, *, ~ and #.

The stroke weights are relatively light, which makes CamingoCode suitable for both bright and dark visual themes.

The family consists of four style-linked fonts (Regular, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic) and is manually hinted to give the best possible appearance on screens.

CamingoMono is a modern monospaced typeface family of seven weights with matching italics, from ExtraLight to Black. Predominantly humanist in character, the typeface also has a technical feel thanks to the fixed proportions, while its semi-condensed width means CamingoMono is a great space saver in long passages of text.

The default figures are noticeably lower than the uppercase letters, making them clearly distinguishable from one another.

The typeface’s additional features include three different figure sets, slashed zeros and currency symbols, arrows and a handful of stylistic alternates.

Brilliance is a glamorous contemporary display blackletter combining the rich tapestry of Textura with a hint of the airy lightness of Spencerian script, ideal for display purposes. The starting and ending flourishes in the last poster images can be obtained either via stylistic alternates of the guillemets («»), or by typing two or three guillements in a row.

The font greatly benefited from helpful feedback from the Typophile and TypeDrawers forums. The background texture in the promotional posters is by MGB-Stock. This font is dedicated to Simone, who gave me a Pilot Parallel Pen for my birthday and thus set all of this in motion.

Pardesi Font Download

Pardesi font is named after a song from Raja Hindustani, a 1996 Bollywood movie directed by Dharmesh Darshan. The lead roles were played by Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor. Together they sing: ‘Pardesi, pardesi, jaana nahi’, meaning so much as: 'Foreigner, foreigner, don't go'.

I remember this song very well, as I was backpacking through India and Nepal at the time and it was played over and over again on all long distance buses I took.
Pardesi font is a fat, rounded, marker-pen font, ideal for books and posters.

It comes with extensive language support.

Lakeland JNL was inspired by lettering seen on a vintage container of Yankee brand motor oil.

Originally all-caps on the package, the remaining characters were developed to expand on this casual semi-script design which was popular during the 1940s.

Sports Jock JNL brings you a serif-style sports font built on the classic design of an early-1900s block font with chamfered angles.

At first glance Parking Lot Stencil JNL look quite similar to many sans stencil fonts, but rest assured there are numerous subtle nuances that give the typeface its own unique flavor.

“Kaat” bridges that gap, transcending the basic needs of type, with the sophistication and fast paced sharpness of today, everyone wants to be different but we all stay the same, this is a reflection in the thickness and shape of each glyph.

Print Shop Classics JNL is comprised of twenty-six decorative letterpress ornaments from vintage source material along with the words “Welcome” and “Introducing” on the period and comma keys.

Canaro Font Download

Conceived as an exploration of geometrical typedesigns of the early 20th century, Canaro developed into a font of that period with a modern streak. The lack of spurs provide a unique but unobtrusive appearance and support the contemporary character.

In addition, the open shapes in combination with a tall x-height, create legibility in small text sizes. Typographic features like alternative lettershapes, ligatures, oldstyle numbers, arrows, fractions, special characters and many more, round up the whole family.

Canaro is available in nine weights plus matching italics. Ranging from sharp and elegant thinner cuts to sporty and athletic heavy weights.

Bornholm Dondal is named after a valley »Dondal« on the only rocky island in Denmark »Bornholm«. It is the fourth face in a series of rough stone cut typefaces, that shares proportions, but differs in any other aspect like different pieces of rock.

Trump Gothic is a reconception of ideas from Georg Trump’s seminal 1955 Signum typeface and its later reworking (Kamene) by Czech designer Stanislav Marso. Originally cobbled together for a variety of film projects in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the Trump Gothic family was made available for the general public in 2005.

Die Brücke was a group of German expressionists which formed in Dresden in 1905. Members of the group include Erich Heckel, Fritz Bleyl, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff. Much of the group’s work was influenced by primitivism and medieval woodblock printing.

Die Bruecke font was based on a printed invitation for an art exhibition from 1906. Although the font is all caps, upper and lower case glyphs differ and can be interchanged. Of course Die Bruecke comes with extensive language support.
