Zucker is an extreme point of type. It is an artifact of neo-classic times (enlightenment) with its beautiful types like Bodoni, Walbaum and Didot. The fineness of copperplate engraving is now replaced by digital accurateness.
But it is like the reproduction technique couldn't keep up with the letters and all connections are dissolved. The leftover is a visual experiment, the reader completes the type.

It has build in OpenType Contextual Alternates feature that will automatically set alternate glyphs depending on frequency of appearance of the same character (even in web font but only in HTML5 browsers).

Neuron Angled is based in the idea of Neuron, the original font designed in 2012 by Corradine Fonts' team, keeping from its predecessor the proportions and slight narrowness. In this version the rounded edges are replaced by sharp contours and flat endings.
A broader typographic system is proposed in Neuron Angled to obtain a versatile and modern typeface without missing its original distinctive style.

If you are like me, you love to doodle in a sketchbook when traveling abroad to capture the indescribable moments that a camera or video would miss. Years ago, on a trip to Spain, I penned out this fanciful handwritten script and just fell in love with it.
I came across that old sketchbook recently, and the love affair was renewed.

Chef Script is an experimental font designed by Carlos Fabian Camargo G. Its fantasy design contains 1463 glyphs to compose words, phrases and short messages on small and large sizes. The idea was born in a sketchbook that was perfected again by hand and achieving "non-neutral drawings" on tracing paper.

Invitation Script is the third script superfamily published by Intellecta Design, after Penabico and Van den Velde Script.

Wood-engraved culs-de-lampe and lettrines. Sm. folio. “Andrade de Figueiredo was born in Espirito Santo, where his father was Governor of the ‘Capitania.’ The fine portrait is dated 1721 and is showing Figueiredo at the age of 48.
He was an eminent calligrapher and a creator of the Portuguese handwriting until the reign of Don José I (ca. 1755). His work follows the style of the great Italian masters in its use of clubbed ascenders and descenders, and of Diaz Morante, the famous Spanish writing master, in its very elaborate show of command of hand.

Sequentialist BB is a comic book lettering font family inspired by crime noir, and the far-flung future as imagined in the 1950s. It has clean, legible lines and a deco feel. The family comes with Regular, Italic, Bold, and BoldItalic, with a large compliment of European characters.
The opentype version contains autoligatures to swap out identical, adjacent letters for a more hand lettered feel.

Tuff began with Magma. Set as text, they appear to be similar and are quite comfortable as typographic companions. The child-safe softness of Tuff owes something to the letterforms of the earliest extant Greek Manuscript, The Persae by Timotheos in the 4th Century BC.
It is beholden to Morris Fuller Benton's original Souvenir, and its revival by Ed Benguiat. My own Stone Informal was also an influence.
