Alverata PE Font Download

Gerard Unger’s new typeface Alverata is a twenty-first-century type-face inspired by the shapes of Romanesque capitals in inscriptions of the eleventh and twelfth centuries, without being a close imitation of them.

It is additionally based on the early twentieth-century model, but tweaked so as to prevent blandness and monotony.

Alverata performs beautifully in both screen and on paper, delivering excellent legibility.

Vicomte is a script typeface inspired by the american lettering style known as Engrosser’s script, Engraver’s script, or more commonly, Copperplate. Designed as “engraving on paper”, Engrosser’s script letters were carefully and slowly built-up in several strokes with a pointed pen, an attempt to imitate more the burin of the engraver than the quill of the writing master.

Motivated by the same goals, Vicomte looks away from handwriting and shows inscribed qualities in its letters. The alternation of curves and angles, along with the narrowness of the characters and the tight spacing give Vicomte a dark and catchy texture, producing words with strength – without loosing the delicacy of formal scripts.

LiebeDoris Font Download

Inspired by a workshop with iconic American sign painter Mike Meyer, Ulrike of LiebeFonts set out to create a versatile, lovely typeface for sign painting that looks not at all like a font but rather like the letters on a unique, hand-painted storefront sign.

Maybe her origin can be traced back to that autumn night in which that tall man with that distant demeanor ran into that woman with sweet smile and elegant aspect.

He looked at her in such a way that he was trapped by that gaze and even though they found no words to say to each other and they stayed in silence, somehow some words leaked into that gaze because since that moment they were never apart again.

But in that chaos of crossed words in their life together, something was stable through the silence of the gazes. In those gazes the silent words sustained that indescribable love that they didnít even try to understand.

Petrol Stencil is a new creation of Naghi Naghashian. Petrol Stencil is designed for technical use. it is the first Arabic Stencil typeface known until today for stamping on packing crate, sacks and vehicles.

This typeface offers a fine balance between calligraphic tradition and the sans serif aesthetic common in Latin typography.

Petrol Stencil supports Arabic, Persian, and Urdu.

Core Magic is a slab-serif version of Core Circus which is a layered type family consisting of seven 3D effect layers, eight 2D effect layers and one shadow effect layer. Uppercase and lowercase letters are separated by such features that counters are opened or closed.

This family is really nice for book titles, headlines, logotypes and any artworks.

Anomique is a revival of a French mid-century sans-serif designed by Enric Crous-Vidal in the early 1960s. Crous-Vidal rejected the homogenization of European modernist type and instead looked to the “seductive” influence of what he called the “Latin Arabesque.”

Exaggerated calligraphic strokes and a lively energy showcase Anomique’s unique influence, while careful balance and an expanded latin character set make it suitable for both display and text settings in the digital age.

Sparhawk in it’s obvious form is a 3D layered display font, but its packed with over 300 swashes, extremely rare in the 3D font world. Every single swash is hand drawn for extreme organic realism.

The font Marcel is named in honor of Marcel Heuzé, a Frenchman who was conscripted into labor during World War II. During the months Marcel was in Germany, he wrote letters to his beloved wife and daughters back home in rural France.

Marcel’s letters contain rare first-person testimony of day-to-day survival within a labor camp, along with the most beautiful expressions of love imaginable. The letters — stained and scarred with censor marks — were the original source documents used by designer Carolyn Porter to create a script font that retains the expressive character of Marcel Heuzé’s original handwriting.

OpenAir Font Download

OpenAir is a display typeface unlike standard Stencil Fonts. Great for logos, short titles and comes with Old Style numerals as well some ligatures.

Signo is a dynamic sans serif with reverse contrast, designed for editorial and branding. Signo is a charismatic typeface for headlines, but its tall x-height and open counters also make it perform well in small sizes, resulting in a versatile typeface across weights.

In comparison, Chatype was developed for the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee by insigne in conjunction with designer Robbie de Villiers. Chatype took elements from Chattanooga’s industrial character and Cherokee past and merged them with the area’s technological influences.

Add in touches from the smooth, aerodynamic design of the boomerang and Ainslie gives you a look uniquely Australian yet usable in a wide range of applications.

These stylish alternates along with a number of swashes as well as meticulously refined details with ball terminals and alternate titling caps keep the font well accessorized. Also included are capital swash alternates, old style figures, and small caps.

Peruse the PDF brochure to see these features in action. OpenType enabled applications such as the Adobe suite or Quark can take full advantage of the automatic replacing ligatures and alternates.

This family also offers the glyphs to support a wide range of languages.

Several approaches were attempted for the final product including a technological hexagonal concept, which may still be developed to another form later. Some of the organic forms were removed and substituted with more abrupt endings, leaving the face looking pretty spiffy and a fair bit more legible.

In the end, Ainslie was pulled back to the basic forms from which it was started.

If you really feel that there’s nothing new happening in the sans-serif scene – meet Gloriola. A combination of frugal, unobtrusive uppercase letters with distinctive ascenders, a slightly compressed appearance and an atypical shape, form a sufficiently original contribution to current efforts to bring sans-serifs up to date.

Klartext Mono Font Download

Klartext [plain talking, clear words]
A modern monospaced type family of 10 weights. Klartext Mono combines a classical monospaced font and modern monolined sans-serif with a humanistic touch.

It is characterized by a large x-height, slightly condensed glyphs with well shaped curves and soft strokes.
As a special feature, Klartext contains a bunch of uncommon glyphs like the German capital sharp S, a nice arrowset and a complete phonetic alphabet.

Dylan is a Sans typeface in the best American tradition. In order to keep corners open and to make the font more readable in small sizes it has deep cuts where curves join straights. I designed 8 finely tuned weights with fitting italic sets.

The fonts includes full smallcaps, language support for most European languages plus Turkish, many fractions, nominator and denominators, Greek mathematical signs and many currency symbols.

It is a versatile font that is well suited for many occasions, even for signage.

PR-Vanaheim Font Download

This font is influenced by ancient Nordic Runes. the strokes flare slightly, to a concave terminal for a finely carved appearance. The font is all caps, but there are alternate letterforms in all the lowercase positions.

There are two sets of capitals in PR-Vanaheim-DC (Dual Capitals); one set of narrow letters, more closely related to Runic forms, and one set which includes wider and circular letters some of which are closer to the classical roman forms, which can be freely combined with the narrow letters for the variety associated with hand lettering.

There is one version with dots placed in the space between words, and the centre of large counters, and one version without the dots.

The original Lust (and later, Lust Script) was my overly indulgent attempt to infuse wanton sensuality in a typeface. I wanted to create something that was over the top, curvy serif that was a little sexy.

Lust Slim signifies a maturation of the individual families as it branches out into further useful typographic indulgences. Lust Slim is just that, slimmer, more compact, more economical of space.

It works lock-step with Lust and Lust Script. Both weights and each variant still appear… just optimized for a narrower setting. Everything that was under the covers before, still remains–with a few surprises—Lots of contrast, almost demure, coy contrast mixed with the flowing curves of a woman’s body, incomplete, almost teasing ball terminals, and serifs that went on forever…so sharp they would draw blood if you touched them.

It needs room and size to breathe. The regular weights can support 36-point or higher settings, whereas the display weights shine above 72-point (preferably 100-point).

Utilizing the OpenType features (and Glyph palette) wisely will have you weaving through endless variations of Stylistic, Contextual, Titling, Historical and Swash alternates‚ and the Italic styles feature a Contextual system that allows you to switch seamlessly between Didone and Scotch traits in order to better complement the upright variants.

Terrorista is a homage to everyone who fought against the Millitary Regime in Brazil from 1964 to 1985. The Terrorista Marighella features generous inktraps, fits perfect for small sizes. Terrorista Dilma has the same design as the Marighella, but without inktraps, made for display.

The last typeface from the package is Terrorista Lamarca, stencil version, all three weights have the same metrics, making it easier to use them together. Have a look at the Terrorista Specimen in the Gallery Menu.

This serif typeface is a real workhorse. It is a modern tool for text design: extremely legible and well shaped. Bandera Text has six weights with original italics. It catches attention in headlines of posters and magazines or makes reading comfortable in plain texts.

Bandera Text works well with Bandera (slab serif), Osnova (sans serif) and Bandera Display (contrast serif) fonts.

Bandera is Spanish for ‘flag’.

And Bandera is a symbol of Ukrainian fighting for freedom for many years.

CA Recape is a weird and beautiful vintage script family with two styles. It’s an excellent choice for creating logotypes, headlines, signs, poster and any design that requires a custom-made feeling.

The basic inspiration for CA Recape comes from American 50s lettering.

But instead of reviving one special style, it is a kind of “Best of”-Remix. It takes the weirdest and most beautiful letterforms of a weird and beautiful time and merges them into one font.

The outcome is a charming bastard. Guess what it looks like: Weird and beautiful.
CA Recape is packed with a lot of OpenType features like underlining swashes, Stylistic, Discretionary, Titling and Contextual Alternates and Ligatures for use in OpenType savvy programs.

Swarha Neue Font Download

Built in 1930 - 1935 by Dutch architect Wolff Schoemaker, the Swarha Islamic Building was originally used as a lodging for the honoured guest country and the journalists for Asia-Africa Conference in 1955.

This building has an important role as one of Bandung historical art deco heritage, with the art deco typefaces styles on it’s singage in this building, giving it a more classic west and east taste.

Wolff Schoemaker was trying to combine the elements between eastern and western culture in design.

One of his works was the Swarha Islamic Building in a circular design with rounded and high dynamic angle. More…

So I'm trying to raise the value of the historical heritage by creating this typefaces.

Available in two styles, Neue and Rounded represents the classic architectural Swarha Islamic Building styles with tropical Bandung Art Deco taste.

Jabana - a font for menu cards and more. It was developed in 2013 by Nils Thomsen to be his first release at MyFonts. Inspired by having a beer at Hamburgs coffee bars.

Super compressed letter shapes, smooth handwritten marker curves and especially a wide range of opentype features define the large character set of Jabana.

Jabana is composed of only uppercase letter shapes. Each letter and punctuation have three simple varieties of alternates. This gives a nice looking handwritten nature to the font. They will be randomly chosen by the contextual alternates feature or even by hand via stylistic set (ss01, ss02).
