Streamwood JNL is an outline sans wood type re-drawn from vintage source material. The design bears strong resemblance to Woodlawn JNL; but is a bit narrower and has a much different set of numbers as well as a more stylized letter “Q”.

The lettering for Stencil Box JNL was found on the packaging of a children’s toy stencil set circa the 1940s. Popular for years, Pencil Stencils were a series of “connect the line” stencils where a series of dashed lines were traced from the cutouts and the lines connected to complete pictures of animals or other subjects.
Although the packaging itself was often updated to reflect the current times during the life of the product, it was this hand-lettered example of stencil-meets-Art Deco from the 40s that proved worthy of saving as a digital typeface.

Statendam is an all caps Art Deco font. It reminds me of the bold lettering used for cruise ship posters from the interbellum, especially those used for the Holland America Line (HAL) ads. It is not a recreation of a particular typeface; merely my salute to a bygone era. Statendam comes with all diacritics.

The Srostky font is willful and stubborn. It is rude, but it is as natural as a country boy. The characters of this font were inspired by an image of the Russian countryside. The letters look as if they were felled with an ax.
It is named after the village in Altai region. This font is suitable for short sayings and titles.

Spiral is a digital transcription of a design by Joseph Blumenthal (1897-1990) which was hand-cut by Louis Hoell and cast by the Bauer foundry in 1930. The design with an italic added was later cut for Monotype and issued in 1936 as Emerson 320.
The name comes from a British expression about two things that couldn't be more different, and it suits this offering to a tee.
The uppercase of this typeface is based on 1930s lettering by French poster artist Charles Loupot, and the lowercase is based on 1910s lettering by German plakatmeister Ludwig Hohlwein. Oddly, the two seem to play together well.
Both versions of the font include the 1252 Latin and 1250 CE character sets (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).
Sperling FY is a geometric and condensed high contrast font, characterized by its long vertical serifs. Its big i-dot as well as some other deliberately naive disproportions like the W are wonderful signs to identify Sperling FY.
The accompanying italic style illustrates well designed creative forms like the k or the z.
Due to its good legibility in small size, you can use it for editorial texts like in magazines.
You can also take great pleasure by using it in poster size.

Sonovovitch is a unicase display typeface inspired by the Russian Constructivist movement and Soviet Cold War era propaganda. Although a faux Russian font, Sonovovitch has language support for the true Cyrillic alphabet.
Originally intended as an exercise in downsizing the typical fonts character set, Sonovovitch quickly expanded in the opposite direction, adding multiple variations for letterforms and utilizing Open Type features allowing for easy substitution of glyphs creating plenty of variety for letter combinations.
Open Type Titling Alternates even substitute completely foreign glyphs, never seen before in any language, allowing for totally alien typesetting. The results found in Sonovovitch are packed with bold character and eastern European influenced flair.

A brass hand-punched shipping stencil from the 1950s inspired Simple Stencil JNL. Shipibo is perfect for display! It is inspired by the aesthetics of the ethnic population of the Peruvian Amazonian that live near the rivers in Ucayali.
Their aesthetic represent the spiritual, physical and cultural relationship between the Amazonian population and the spirit of the jungle. Their belief is that the stars travel through the sky in canoes, giving a romantic view of these people, whom represent on their black canvas, a starry sky.

Conrad X. ‘Cobb’ Shinn (Sept. 4, 1887- Jan. 28, 1951) was a Fillmore, Indiana-born post card illustrator who sold a series of successful novelty postcard lines which included (among others) Charlie Chaplin, automobiles and the Dutch culture in the beginning years of the 20th Century.
After serving in World War I, Shinn found the market for novelty postcards dwindling, and he also lent his artistic skills to cartoon features and illustrating many children’s books [including his own, under the nickname ‘Uncle Cobb’] which taught easy step-by-step drawing methods. More…

If you like a rough-hewn, rugged and vintage typeface, then Shadowlawn JNL will certainly please you. Re-drawn from vintage examples of a hand-cut wood type, the rustic charm of this typeface brings a reminiscence of Old West themes.
Shadowland JNL is a simple titling font with a limited character set. Comprised of just A-Z with basic punctuation, the design is based on a set of wood type of a more modern era. The outer lines are crisp and sharp, while the interior letters have rounded ends.

In Roman mythology, Ceres is the goddess of growing plants (particularly cereals) and of motherly love. Ceres was usually equated with the Greek goddess Demeter.
